A perfect view of Sant’Angelo AND St. Peter’s dome
It’s impressive, to say the least, that these masterpieces are recreated with flower petals
A perfect view of the flower competition laid out in front of St. Peter’s

Today was a holiday honoring Saint Paul and Peter so there was an artistic flower petal competition of “paintings” laid out in from of St. Peter’s. The wind was a bit strong today so not all of the flowers were intact by the time I made it out to see them. And also in honor of the holiday, fireworks were set off from Castel Sant’Angelo and everyone was along the riverbanks/bridges to see the show.
