News flash: you’re awesome. Are you interested in being a fantastic addition to our Ambassador Program? This program is a volunteer opportunity to share your study abroad experience on campus and online (where you can earn prizes, as well!).

Through volunteer projects, Ambassadors bring the study abroad experience to life for future IES Abroad students. The program helps IES Abroad alumni build their résumés and communication skills while sharing their stories with peers who are eager to listen. Ambassadors offer support and advice to future study abroad students and may serve for up to two years.

Why be an IES Abroad Ambassador?

Join a community of alumni who help spread the greatness of study abroad on their college campuses.

Share Your Story

You know your story the best! There’s a lot to unpack from a study abroad experience, and this is a great opportunity to process and inspire students as well. You’ll serve as a peer mentor and answer any questions that students might have.

Professional Development & Networking

As an Ambassador, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to work with your Study Abroad Office to help with initiatives like study abroad fairs, predeparture orientations, and panels in-person or virtually. You’re also encouraged to come up with initiatives on your own!
