Broadening Access

Through our initiatives to our partnerships, we're actively broadening access to study abroad.

Our High-Impact Aid Commitment has skyrocketed the efficacy of our financial aid, enabling more students to study abroad than ever before. It's designed to increase accessibility by awarding financial aid where it matters most.

It doesn't stop there. We partner with 275+ U.S. colleges and universities to build bridges for students—making things like credit transfer even easier—and offer dedicated advisors to provide personalized support.

Building Belonging

Our students and their classmates bring their lived experiences with them as they meet in the IES Abroad classroom and navigate a different country and culture. Through our experienced on-site staff, thoughtful orientations and programming, and high standards for health and safety, we enable our students to feel connected, safe, confident, and ready to succeed.

Cultivating Cultural Competence

The ability to interact effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds is an imperative life and work skill in today's globalized world.

Through hands-on learning opportunities including internships, volunteer placements, field trips, and guest speakers, our students engage in a range of experiences and meet people from all backgrounds to develop highly sought after skills.
