I’m back home for the holidays, and I’ve finally had the chance to reflect on my time abroad. Everything they say is true — it’s bittersweet being back at home...
As I lay in my bed writing this, a week after I have returned home, I am finally able to reflect on what it means to be back.
In my first week back home, I’ve realized how lonely being home can be after a semester abroad.

Somehow, I've found my way back to the S terminal of the Madrid airport. Except, this time, my destination is Washington, DC and not Granada, Spain.
