Beachin’ it Up Roman Style

Santa Marinella, just a quick train ride away, is a town straight west of the city on the coast and is the perfect getaway spot so we decided to beat out the heat and cool off on the beach.

The water was fresh and clear and it was easy to spot lil’ sea critters

Other than the option of swimming, people were fishing, paddling boats, etc.

A personal island

Once the clouds started rolling in, we called it a day.

Santa Marinella is a quiet but beautiful escape for those looking to get a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and catch some rays!
