A Few Days Before the Adventure

Getting ready for a trip is always a daunting task, especially if you are going out of the country. There are so many things to research, prepare, and pack before the trip. These past couple of weeks I have also been feeling a mixture of emotions about leaving home (California) for so long. I will definitely miss the beauty of home and my friends and family, but I know I will be going on the greatest adventure of my college career making memories I will never forget.

The photos below give an idea of what I needed to prepare before packing along with photos of the beautiful scenery back home that I will miss.

In addition to the photos, there were also a few other important things I needed to prepare and make sure I had enough of:

1.) Cell phone while abroad

2.) Credit cards/figure out the best way to pay for things abroad

3.) Vitamins, etc.

4.) This blog!

5.) Practice my Spanish

I have been abroad once before for a short period of time, but this trip took much more planning than before. Being gone for four weeks is quite daunting and I wanted to make sure I was 100% prepared and had everything I needed. Thankfully I know I can always buy things while abroad as well.

Happy packing to anyone else going abroad soon!
