Abroad in the Galapagos: A Day in the Life
The opportunity to study abroad in the Galapagos is pretty unique. Before coming here, I would get questions about my abroad trip such as…
“Wait – are you going to be living on a boat?”
“There are actually people that live in the Galapagos?”
“Do you even have class?”

Saree not Sorry
Before I came to New Zealand I thought I’d spend my time being 100% immersed in Kiwi culture. However, that ended up not being the case at all. Ilam apartments consist of multiple cultures from all over the world and are a common place for international students to live. I am currently blessed with two wonderful ladies from the beautiful country of Malaysia as my flat mates.
Volcanos, Earthquakes, and Hot Springs. Oh My!
Over Spring Break (Chilean Independence Day Week) a group of 5 of us went to a great little town in the South of Chile called Pucón. Just like all of the other places we've visited, it was incredible! This was definitely a adventure loving tourist destination. In the hostel we were staying in (The French Andes--10/10 would recommend) most of the other travelers were there to ski or snowboard down the close by mountains and volcanos. Yes, VOLCANOS! The volcano close to Pucón is also active so at night you can see the top of it glowing red.

Making the Most out of Studying Abroad
I've been thinking for a while now about what it means for me to be here in a different country away from most things familiar to me and how I've come to deal with life and the new experiences I've been having since arriving in Japan. Though there are many similarities between here and America such as similar technologies used and a generally similar pace of life, there are a plethora of other things such as the distinct culture, lifestyle practices, language (duh), and customs that make living here quite the unique and different experience.

Il Bio, Burggasse 50, Wien
Before this European venture out began, when I wrote that I wanted to really be where I am, I meant it. Though, at that time, I wasn't sure what "being" in Vienna would look like. Living in Vienna has been such a surprise. The first surprising aspect that comes to mind is how much city there is to live in. There are 23 districts here, and there is even some land between them. Sometimes it overwhelms me when I look at all the places I want to enjoy here.
