Arrival in Quito

This is a representation of my first three days in Quito. I arrived late at night then had 3 days of orientation around the city. I wanted to take pictures of what it was like to arrive in Quito and go through security but I did not want to attract the attention of the security guards. I will say that I had no trouble getting through immigration and customs and was only asked a few simple questions. I also will say that I was very nervous since it was my first time through customs without my parents but, I saw lots of other nervous people and found out that several of them were my classmates! The time goes by so quickly here. I got so busy I forgot to post this right away but here it is now.

I was born and raised in a suburb just outside of Chicago. When I started looking at colleges I looked for places far away and very different from where I grew up and University of Wyoming fit the bill. I have a passion for learning and exploring. My trip to Ecuador will allow me to explore and learn and I can't wait to share this experience will all of you.
