Login Unavailable This Friday-Saturday

While we work on some upgrades to our website, login will be unavailable for about a full day this Friday night through Saturday, September 30th. You will still be able to peruse the IES Abroad website, but will not be able to access your MyIESabroad account during that window. Arrival in Quito

Veronica Warda
June 6, 2013

This is a representation of my first three days in Quito. I arrived late at night then had 3 days of orientation around the city. I wanted to take pictures of what it was like to arrive in Quito and go through security but I did not want to attract the attention of the security guards. I will say that I had no trouble getting through immigration and customs and was only asked a few simple questions. I also will say that I was very nervous since it was my first time through customs without my parents but, I saw lots of other nervous people and found out that several of them were my classmates! The time goes by so quickly here. I got so busy I forgot to post this right away but here it is now.

I was born and raised in a suburb just outside of Chicago. When I started looking at colleges I looked for places far away and very different from where I grew up and University of Wyoming fit the bill. I have a passion for learning and exploring. My trip to Ecuador will allow me to explore and learn and I can't wait to share this experience will all of you.
