Cape Peninsula Tour

Put simply, Cape Town is beautiful.

Leaving the city center for the various beaches of the Western Cape area is a must. On our second day of touring we traveled along the Cape shoreline for some breathtaking views. Taking in the breeze and sunshine, we visited Hout Bay, Boulder Beach, and all the way down to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point.

Perhaps the best part of the journey was our lunch stop in Ocean View. We had a wonderful meal prepared by a community leader. She runs a community development program for young people from homes with absent parents, and teaches them to cope through dance and song. Varying in age from 3 and 4 to early twenties these children and young adults put on an entertaining afternoon show.

Below are a series of scenic images from this excellent day.
