<p>Hi! My name is Lena, and I'm a junior at Tufts University. I study English and Political Science, and I hope to be a journalist after college. In my free time, I love to run, read and write poetry, and watch movies.</p>
<p>Endowed with a healthy dose of irreverence, I laugh at pretty much everything. Nothing lifts my spirits like dogs, cats, and babies, I can juggle 4 balls at once (because why not?), and a well-played violin will always make me cry.</p>
<p>I am a junior at The George Washington University majoring in psychology and organizational sciences with a minor in Spanish. I am passionate about sustainability and over the last three years I have been working to both decrease my own ecological footprint and advocate for sustainable development on campus. I am also an art enthusiast; I love exploring galleries, finding new street art, as well as creating my own photography and multimedia projects.</p>
<p>I am a biomedical engineering major and a studio art minor. I play field hockey for the University of Rochester and I love to exercise and be outdoors. If I'm not playing field hockey my exercise of choice is running, Crossfit, waterskiing, wakeboarding, skiing, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, and anything else that gets me outside.</p>
<p>My name is Sarah, and I'm from New England but I study psychology (and math, and religion, and everything else) at Vassar College in the Hudson Valley. When I'm not doing schoolwork, you can find me singing in a choir, at ballet class, or binge watching TV shows with my friends.</p>
<p>Hi. I'm Jack Toll, and I'm a junior at The College of William and Mary from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I'm studying Mandarin Language and Culture. Being from outside of Philadelphia, I'm utterly obsessed with Philly sports teams, mainly the Philadelphia 76ers and Eagles, and plan on throwing myself headfirst into Shanghai sports culture. As for hobbies, I'm really into hanging out with my friends, obsessing over penny stock investing, and participating in intramural handball leagues on campus. A fun fact about me would probably be that my first ever job was as a Media Production intern at CATV-47, the first and only Native-American operated and owned television station in the state of Oklahoma. I spent over a month living in Concho, Oklahoma, where I produced content for CATV, which is headquartered on the Cheyenne-Arapaho reservation that many of my family members and ancestors either once lived on or are currently buried on.</p>
<p>Hi all! I am a junior at the University of Minnesota studying Global Studies, with a focus on the global political economy in Latin America. I love being able to experience my favorite city, Minneapolis, while<br>gaining my education. My hobbies include reading, trying new food, shopping and exploring. My favorite animal is a sloth, and my favorite travel memory so far was when I got to witness a sloth climbing down from a tree outside of the Panama Canal!</p>
<p>My name is Heather. I am convinced I was named after my great aunt's Scottish terrier. I live right outside Cleveland. True to my urban studies major, I love being in the city- except when I decide to bike over 220 miles to Niagara Falls during a two-week experiential learning intensive course at my high school. I am thankful and excited for having the opportunity to study abroad and would love to share my trials and tribulations with the IES community.</p>
<p>I am a sophomore German and Secondary Education major at Susquehanna University. Some of my favorite activities include reading, hiking and being outside, running, and yoga. I am actually a certified yoga teacher! I want to be a German teacher after I graduate. My favorite word in German is Glühbirne which means light bulb, but translates literally to "glowing pear"!</p>
<p>I'm at junior at Georgetown, studying government, creative writing, and Arabic. I grew up in Vermont and Massachusetts. Interests include (but are not limited to!) radio, poetry, hiking, and beekeeping.</p>
