If you do not submit your independent housing forms with appropriate signatures by the housing form due date, IES Abroad will secure housing in your name. If you choose to withdraw from IES Abroad housing after housing has been secured for you, you will be responsible for all housing fees, a $100 administrative fee, and any non-recoverable expense incurred on your behalf for locating and securing IES Abroad housing. Internships Internships Past placements through IES Abroad Berlin have been in business, communications, computer science, innovation, marketing, research, social service, sustainability and technology. You will be required to attend the internship seminar course as part of your regular course load. Internship placement hours are part-time and take place over 12 weeks during the semester, for approximately 10 hours per week.
