I study Nutritional Sciences and Linguistics, with a focus in Dietetics and Sociolinguistics respectively, in the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State. I am also minoring in German and Korean. Outside of the classroom I volunteer with the Beekeeper's Club and LGBTA Resource Center at PSU and work part time for Hillel (delivering kosher soup, actually!). During breaks I like cooking, gardening, and playing D&D with friends. 

I was born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I'm a big foodie and love eating matcha ice cream in Chinatown, bulgogi on 35th street, and every type of raw and cooked vegetable at all the fast casual places around the City (I'm obsessed with Dig-In). I have a food instagram site called hot.foods.ugh which I call a "food journal of a reformed picky eater". I should also mention that I'm a huge runner. This activity couples nicely with my love of food. Whenever I travel, I love to explore different runs. Like my love of exploring different food, running gives me a whole other way to experience life.

Maya Haws-Shaddock is a rising junior, majoring in Advertising, minoring in French, Business and Digital Arts & Media. Having been raised in Austin, she holds a deep-rooted love for local live music, funky aesthetics, and unnecessary winter clothes she’ll never get to wear. While not staring into the endless void of Adobe Masterworks, Maya spends her time working in a variety of student organizations, drinking overpriced chai, making the most of the local live music, or digging through racks of questionably clean clothing at her local thrift stores.

I am a 20 year old pursuing a career in Journalism at the University of Iowa. Thrives off quoting The Office, making people laugh, and lover of puns and pizza (obviously).

Hey there, my name is Megan! I'm from a rural suburb south of Annapolis, Maryland, and like many Annapolitans, I love sailing, summer, and being on the water. When I'm not in my quiet hometown, I'm enjoying (and adjusting to) city life in Baltimore, studying International Studies and Sociology in my first year at Johns Hopkins. This summer, I'll be living and working in a city a bit farther from home: Santiago, Chile!

I'm a rising senior studying psychology at the University of Miami. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do so I am so excited to be studying abroad this summer. I've always been known to have a "passion for fashion," so being able to do a fashion internship in Milan is amazing!
