I am a research assistant studying lake ecosystems, volunteer in an elementary school classroom and perform Bollywood dance. Most people study Spanish and then decide to visit South America, but I did the reverse - after choosing Quito for study abroad, I took my first Spanish class! Although I have just 2 years of Spanish under my belt, I couldn&#39;t be more excited to study in Ecuador.</span></p>

I started photography as a hobby in high school, and have since expanded my collection to 10 film cameras and one digital. Most of my photos and videos document my travels at home and abroad. I am particularly inspired by the qualities of light, memories, natural history, nontraditional developing practices, and nontraditional portraiture. This is my first time in Europe so this whole experience is brand new to me and you&#39;ll probably guess that through my blog as I note things about London and my experience here that locals probably don&#39;t even notice anymore.
