I'm always trying to take the road less traveled, whether that means skiing the powder only found in the glades, or trying to ride in waves on my boogie board while the rest of my family tans shoreside. Last summer I took the trip of a lifetime when I spent a week backpacking through Olympic National Park in Washington with a friend. It was an experience I will never forget because it showed me the power of pushing my comfort zone.

Dan is the first year at Yale. There is something about the invisible forces control human behavior and make up their knowledge that pokes her curiosity. Don’t get her wrong; she isn’t learning how to mind-control others, but rather to combine knowledge about people’s product preferences and spending patterns to contribute to the field of behavioral economics. When she isn’t listening to podcasts and multitasking, Dan loves to run in her neighborhood and bake for her floormates. 

My name is Madalyn and I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in Kentucky, attend the University of Kentucky, and will be studying abroad in Santiago, Chile. I want to use my blog to inspire and be a positive role model for girls and young women interested in the STEM field. I can't wait to share all the adventures I will take and knowledge I will gain while studying medicine in the Spanish language.

Hello, I'm Allison! I am a Public Relations major and I am very passionate about travelling the world and learning about different cultures. I am a serious foodie, and one of my favorite parts of travelling is being able to experience culture through food in the place I'm in. I spent my Winter Break this year in China which was probably my favorite trip I've been on! When I am not flying or taking a road trip, I love all things history. Here's a fun fact about me: when I take study breaks, go on The History Channel website and read different articles about whatever is going on in the history world. I am so excited to be spending time in London and to learn about all of the history and culture there!

Hello! I am Dani and I speak 5 languages! I am a dancer, modern dance specifically, and have been dancing since 4 years old. As cheesy as it sounds, dance has always been my emotional and creative outlet. I LOVE photography and graphic design (photoshop, etc). I want graphic design to be my career. I love living a healthy lifestyle by hiking, eating well, and practicing self-love. I am just trying to experience life to the max and I know that studying abroad will help me do that.

After high school, I decided to go solo backpacking in Southeast Asia for seven months because I have a great sense of adventure and a drive to constantly keep challenging myself. Through this, I developed a passion for photography and filmmaking which helped me obtain my current job with the University of Pittsburgh department of marketing to create photo and video content for the students as well as potential students.
