Connor Cook

Young person with short dark hair and a neutral expression, wearing a black shirt. This alt text was added with Al; accuracy may vary.
Raised in Annapolis, MD for most of my life, I have been exposed to exotics ships that enter the Annapolis and Baltimore harbors. My dad, who served in the Navy, taught me from a young age the value of international experience and the importance of putting myself out there in order to gain it.
After graduating from high school in 2010, I decided to move to Boston, and I studied there for several years before returning to finish my education close to home. However, I have grown to miss the city, and the fun of reaching outside my comfort zone is sorely missed. I want to pursue the opportunity to grow and take lessons learned from other cultures so I may continue to evolve as a person. Southeast Asia and Japan in particular have always eluded my grasp due to budget restrictions, but I have scrimped and saved so that I may finally make this a reality. With your organizations help, I am optimistic that I'll make this summer will truly be one to remember.

In my free time, I love taking spontaneous trips to New York, cooking, and exploring nooks and crannies of Harvard's vast campus. My career plans at this point are wildly up in the air, but I hope that my experience with music this summer will help me on that front.
