My new favorite place has to be Ortakoy! It’s this wonderful place by the water with a lot of local musicians and a bunch of stray cats (they are everywhere in Turkey). Ortakoy is famous for their wonderful Kumpir! It’s a huge potato with veggies, cheese, and sausage inside. It’s one of my favorite food! Also they have the famous waffles with chocolate, fruit, and pistachio cream. Ortakoy has a great vibe and you can see the bridge light show. It’s amazing. Anyone who goes to Istanbul has to go to Ortakoy!

Hi, my name is Estefany Maria and I am junior at the University of Rochester. I am currently majoring in Health, Behavior and Society and I am also on a pre-medicine track.
