Class in the Swiss Alps!

This semester I've spent many class days outside hiking and I've absolutely loved it. I've always loved the outdoors but truly reinvigorated my passion for hiking and camping this semester. For my forest management and ecology class, we went on a trip to the Swiss Alps, studying the forests while immersed in them. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun too. Switzerland absolutely exceeded my expectations, and I already can't wait to return to this stunning country. The main places that we went were Disentis, Lake Caumasee, and the Altesch Glacier.

I hope you enjoy the video!

Hi! My name is Elizabeth and I am a rising sophomore at Cornell University studying International Agriculture & Rural Development. I am passionate about environmentalism, the food system, and travel, so my studies in college so far have perfectly allowed me to combine them all! My dream is to have my own farm/restaurant/learning center where I can teach people about sustainability, farming, and healthy eating. I love the outdoors, hiking, swimming, or really any type of adventure and I can't wait to explore Freiburg and all it has to offer this fall!
