A Love Letter To the Art in Vienna

Although I came to Vienna to study music, another one of my passions is visual art. I have always been fascinated by classical art and techniques, so when I arrived in Vienna, I wanted to take every opportunity to visit the art museums and see some of the most notable art in the world. The two main museums I visited were the Belvedere and the Albertina.

The People You Meet Abroad

Throughout my time abroad, I have tried to put myself out of my comfort zone and talk to new people. I'm generally pretty introverted, so striking up a conversation with a stranger or making new friends doesn't generally come easily to me. However, in a new country all by myself, I felt it would be important to foster some sense of community. I figured I'd share them, just in case anybody reading can learn from my mistakes, or maybe just needs a good laugh.

A Month of Goodbyes

Well, this is it. The IES Abroad school year officially came to an end almost two weeks ago. My fellow IES Abroad classmates have been gradually filtering out of our shared apartment building, and now my last few weeks in Buenos Aires are staring me in the face.

It’s time to say goodbye.

Visiting Prague!

For the last weekend of my IES Abroad trip, my roommates and I took the opportunity to travel to Prague, Czech Republic. We left Friday, July 1, and left Sunday, July 3. Luckily, one of my roommates has a relative in Prague that gave us a place to stay with two adorable cats!
