A major hurdle in enjoying your time abroad is accepting that everything will be different. On top of the obvious differences in language, scenery, and climate, there is also a need to adjust to a completely foreign way of life, with different customs and expectations. Anna Suszynski (Granada, Spring 2015) is taking it all in stride and is loving this adjustment period—socializing with new friends in Spanish, taking in all the sites during la siesta, and enjoying the long and lively Spanish nights. In our Blog Post of the Week, Anna writes about how time seems to pass differently in Spain—and how she could probably use a little more sleep.
