Freiburg (especially in the sun, but any time really) is a gorgeous, wondrous city that's just the right size. There are 3 main parks, all west of the train station that I'm absolutely enamored with! They're also very prideful about their soccer team, SC Freiburg and if you're not planning to attend the games, you'll always know when they based on the red-and-white flooded trams and city center. Get yourself a scarf if you want to blend in! If you're a runner and there in the Spring, I highly recommend the Freiburg Marathon at the end of March. It's tough to train with all our trips, but the course takes you through parts of town you've probably never seen--even winding through the backstreets of Old Town was wonderful, and you get to run across the iconic Blue Bridge! (There's a relay option if you and some friends want to tag team the race). And make sure to hit up the Kegelbahn for some German, 9-pin bowling!

Hello! I'm Kimberly Webber, an International Business Leadership major at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, off roaming around Freiburg and surrounding areas for the semester! My biggest values are happiness and genuine relationships so I can usually be found in a campus cafe, socializing while pretending to do homework; at work, socializing; or hanging out in my sorority house, socializing! In my off-hours I'm a portrait photographer where my greatest accomplishments include catching my subjects off-guard and eliciting a genuine smile or laugh. I look forward to documenting my experiences abroad and hope you enjoy all the photos and videos you see here!
