Kasha’s Valentine’s Day Video
This video portrays the things I love about my abroad experience so far. I admit my first month in London was filled with me missing home, from missing my friends, family, dog, and my all time favorite snack…GOLDEN OREOS! However, after doing some much needed soul searching, I was able to embrace my new surroundings and find new things that I love. For one, I love to travel which is why I have been to Oxford and to France, with more places in mind for next month! I also love trying new treats, mostly cupcakes and my all time new favorite biscuit-caramel and milk chocolate digestives-oh and also caramel waffles! Also, it’s the little things, such as a walk back to Nido with a friend, or trying to get the front row seat on the 2nd floor of the double decker bus. So although, my valentine is all the way back in the United States, I’ve chosen all of these little things about London to appreciate this Valentines Day.

I am a junior studying at American University and this semester I am studying with the IES program in London! Public Health and specifically the topic of health disparities interest me and this program allows me to really dive into the inner-workings of my interest by giving me hands on work in the field. This is my first time in Europe so this whole experience is brand new to me and you'll probably guess that through my blog as I note things about London and my experience here that locals probably don't even notice anymore. I love working and interacting with people from all walks of life, and I can't wait to explore London and all its diversity. Catch up with you soon, thanks for reading!
