WS/FS 326 - Almodóvar and His Contemporaries: The Image of Women in Spanish Film

This course considers two of the most interesting questions in contemporary Spanish cinema: studying the figure of Pedro Almodóvar, the most internationally renowned Spanish director, and analyzing the representations of Spanish women in Spanish cinematography, primarily in films made by women.
