While I love the Midwest, I am excited to be escaping the bitter subzero winter and starting a new adventure in Barcelona this semester. However, before I leave, I have a lot of work cut out for me. Current tasks on the abroad to-do list include picking out a new phone plan and figuring out how to pack my life into two checked bags. For me, bringing camera equipment will be essential in sharing my semester abroad experience through my eyes. Back at my home school, University of St. Thomas, I am double majoring in Spanish and Environmental Science-Biology with aspirations to protect the environment throughout the world, especially in Spanish-speaking countries. I feel most connected to nature and love surrounding myself with it. I always find myself taking pictures or videos to capture the scene and allow others to experience the same moment and beauty I did.
