Hey! My name is Ian and I am a junior at Ithaca College, where I major in history meaning long papers are my specialty. I play on my school's club ultimate frisbee team and we even went to the national tournament! I am from New York City so navigating public transit is a refined skill of mine. I am beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity to study abroad in Rome, eat amazing food and see places I've dreamed of seeing my whole life.

My name is Maleika Stewart I am 21 years old from Westchester County New York and I am a junior at Spelman College majoring in English and minoring in Photography. I will be attending the IES Abroad Rome- Film and Media Studies program in Rome, Italy in the spring semester of 2023. My life interest range from documentary filmmaking, photography, writing, and skateboarding. In the near future I aspire to work as a Photojournalist, more specifically I aspire to report on women’s rights and child labor laws in third world countries to help promote knowledge and share the stories of those who dont have a voice or access to a platform to share their stories. Through the IES Study Abroad program I plan to obtain great storytelling skills and extensive knowledge to express myself in literature, and correspondingly, enhance my confidence and experience in photography.

My name is Tatyana Masters and I'm from Washington D.C. I can often be found with a book to read and camera on hand, looking for a new adventure or stranger to meet. I go to school in New York City, so in my free time, I like to ride the subway to different areas of the city and interview interesting people I meet for stories!

Susie Webb is a junior journalism and global studies major at UNC-Chapel Hill. She is originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia. At UNC, Susie is the data editor for her school's newspaper, The Daily Tar Heel. She also works for UNC Expeditions and leads backpacking, hiking, and climbing trips for university students. Susie used to play on the club rugby team and was a member of UNC's climbing club.
