Amsterdam: The Jazz City

One of the things I’ve learned since starting my second semester in Amsterdam is that the people you choose to surround yourself with are really the ones who will shape your experiences of study abroad. Since making new friends, I’ve learned more about Amsterdam than I thought possible. I thought that, having been here for four months already, getting to know most of where I am going and finding places I like, that how I experienced Amsterdam the first time would be solidified. I know Amsterdam as I know Amsterdam.

Others may have larger rooms. Ways of expressing hospitality may differ among families. We advise you not to compare one host family with another, but to try to adapt and appreciate your own host family. French Host Families Upon your arrival, an orientation...

Spring Break: Roman around London!

It’s hard to believe that spring break came up so fast! After a long few hours of deliberation at the IES Abroad center, my friends and I decided on London and Rome for our week of travel. One of my favorite parts of Europe is how affordable travel is! All our travel, which included coming from and back to France, was under 145 euros. That’s less than what I pay to get from Indiana to Portland!

Program Calendar If available, the SP26 Seoul Program Calendar will appear below.
