The day after the official arrival date, the on-site portion of your IES Abroad program will begin with a mandatory five-day orientation program. All students must arrive in Rome by 5:30pm on the official arrival date. Rome is served by two airports. You will likely arrive at the main one, Fiumicino/Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO), which is used by most carriers and for nearly all intercontinental flights. The second one, Roma Ciampino Airport (CIA), is mainly served by intra-European and low-cost carriers such as Ryanair and EasyJet.
