IES Abroad will preregister you for university courses prior to the start of the program. Upon arrival in London, you will finalize course enrollment during orientation. Final enrollment cannot take place prior to your arrival in London. IES Abroad will also share information about how to access course schedules, and it is your responsibility to make sure that the courses you have been approved for do not conflict. If they do, you should seek approval for additional courses, checking with your home university first that they will permit you to take said courses.

Course-Related Excursions Several IES Abroad courses include a compulsory course-related excursion. Required field trips are either included in the program fee, or will require a discounted additional cost. This will be clearly communicated to students during the preregistration process. IES Abroad staff will provide you with guidance on how to apply for Queen Mary housing. You will receive your housing offer from Queen Mary via email, and will be responsible for accepting their housing offer online. Detailed instructions will be given by IES Abroad staff on how to do this.
Once you have been offered a place to study at UCL, you will be contacted by IES Abroad London staff giving you instructions on how to apply for student accommodation online. All UCL students apply for their own accommodation online, following the detailed instructions provided by IES Abroad. There is a quick turnaround time for this process, so it is important that students are proactive and apply immediately when instructed to do so.
