Holiday Availability: All IES Abroad offices will be closed on Dec 24, Dec 25, Dec 31, and Jan 1 as we take some time to celebrate. During the weeks of 12/22 and 12/29, our team will be smaller, so responses may take longer than usual. Thanks for your understanding—and happy holidays!

Living the Vintage Lifestyle in Roma

Ever since high school, I have found myself absolutely in love with fashion. In my eyes, it’s a way to express oneself outwardly without ever having to say a word, and as such is a high form of art. For me, clothing was a way of stepping into the world, unconditionally, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. I was able to become more confident in who I am through the vibrant colors I chose to wear, and today I have solidified a sense of style that is unique to me, as many of my friends have told me.

Once in Japan, you should contact the IES Abroad Tokyo Center staff to tell them you have arrived. Contact information for the IES Abroad Tokyo Center will be included in your Print Me document.

Keep in mind that when flying to Sydney you cross the International Date Line, which means that most flights leaving from the United States arrive in Australia two calendar days later (e.g., flights leaving the United States on Thursday night arrive in Australia on...
