The IES Abroad orientation program is designed to ease you into life in Sydney, giving you guidance and support as you begin to adjust to your new surroundings. Attendance is compulsory. In the days following your arrival, you will participate in the IES Abroad orientation, which is mandatory for all students. The orientation includes important information about health and safety, housing, academics, and student life in the city. During the orientation week, you will also receive 15 hours of German language instruction. We will lead you through the process of receiving a residence permit for the duration of your studies with IES Abroad Berlin. If you do not have an international plan for your mobile, IES Abroad staff will offer information on getting a German SIM card.
