Hi! I'm Peter Fitzpatrick. I major in New Media Interactive Development and minor in Japanese at Rochester Institute of Technology. I'm going to be spending a few months this summer achieving my dream of visiting Japan by taking part of the Nagoya Summer - Language and Culture program. I'm excited to experience Japan and it's language in a natural setting and meet tons of new people. After the program is over I hope to have a much deeper understanding of the Japanese language. When I'm not programming or brushing up on my Japanese, I'm often playing volleyball or reading some of my favorite manga.

Hi, my name is Adrienne Cecile, though many just know me as Ace. I am originally from Los Angeles, and I am now a rising senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I specialize in biotechnology and Franco-Arab Studies. I have a huge passion for making art, particularly drawing and sewing. I spend a lot of my time at school at my arts fraternity, St. Anthony Hall, where I do community arts outreach and make a lot of art, of course. I am so excited to be in a Francophone country for the first time after studying French for eight years, and I cannot wait to learn Arabic and do independent research on minoritiy communities in Urban Morocco.

I hail from Houston, Texas and study in Austin, Texas, so needless to say, I'm ready to get out of Texas. I study Chemistry and Spanish at the University of Texas at Austin and I like to pretend that I can manage German. This is my second time in Europe and I'm excited for the adventure that awaits!

Hi! My name is Kate Jones and I'm a Dramatic Arts and Performance Studies double major at UNC Chapel Hill. I am jazzed to start my study abroad program concentrating in acting this summer in Dublin, Ireland. This is my third time traveling to Ireland which should give you some insight into how much I love this country and it impact it has made on my life. I cannot wait to experience it again, but as a student this time around!

Hi, there! My name is Sophia Raymond and I'm studying Public Relations and Marketing and Indiana University. Curiosity may be what killed the cat, but it's what fuels me! I'm a writer, designer, and visual arts creator, and I'm an absolute nerd for 20th century history (currently binge-watching CNN's Decade series). Usually, you can find me rock climbing, painting, or snuggling with my adorable Irish-doodle Sookie, but this summer I'll be studying abroad in Paris to further my French fluency and explore Europe! Life is a beautiful thing, and I plan on making the most of it.

I am Maysam Al-Ani, a Media Industries and Technologies junior at Northwestern University in Qatar. I am a Muslim and am originally from Iraq. My passions are film (production and post-production), screenwriting, anime, and video games. I am a huge fan of travelling and learning about different cultures and people.
