With the Icelandic volcano eruption disrupting air travel in Europe and with numerous airports allowing no incoming or outgoing flights, many IES Abroad students are finding themselves traveling away from their Center. Some students are concerned that they will not be able to attend class on Monday or later next week.
All modes of transportation are currently in high demand throughout Europe. Anticipated travel will most likely be impacted and not proceed as planned.
IES Abroad has advised students to do their best to return to their program location as soon as possible and when safe to do so. Students experiencing delays in returning to their program location should call the emergency phone at their Center or email the Center and inform the Center staff of their anticipated return.
Any missed classes, exams, and papers will need to be arranged through the Center.
