Amsterdam

Recently made popular again, by The Fault in Our Tears movie coming out, Amsterdam was a must-see on our list for weekend travel. My roommates and I packed up and headed to the Netherlands for a short while. We arrived in Amsterdam Thursday night to an airport full of Christmas lights! We then made the trip to our cute little air b&b.

This was our first weekend that was COLD COLD COLD. I’m from California, so  I may be a little biased, but it was all about layers, winter was truly here. We spent the day exploring via a canal tour, saw the Amsterdam sign, museums, and of course the Anne Frank House. Everyone was very friendly in Amsterdam. We also got tomato soup and grilled cheese, which was a great little feeling of home.
