I wanted to wrap up my blog with the people that have impacted me the most while living abroad. Some I met in Amsterdam, some I met on trips, and one I already sort of knew back in America. It’s not always the places you go, but the people you meet in those places that really effect you!

Emily Nazario

My name is Emily Nazario. I am a senior at Ithaca College studying flute performance. This fall, I will be studying abroad in Amsterdam, The Netherlands through IES's program: Conservatorium van Amsterdam- Direct Enrollment. I am beyond thrilled to have this opportunity to learn and grow, not only in my musical abilities, but also in life experience. I am excited to meet and connect with people from around the world, and immerse myself in a new culture.
