Depression Abroad: The Inside Scoop

I have depression. There, I said it, the thing nobody wants to talk about. All week I’ve been wracking my brain for the best topic to write about—the gorgeous hikes? The amazing food?—but I came to the same conclusion every time: that what I say should be what I wish I had heard before I decided to go to school in an entirely new country. This post will be deeply personal, and perhaps it resonates with you because these days depression seems to be everywhere, especially in my generation and especially on college campuses. 

Andy’s First Four Day’s in Italy

Hi everyone! 

I hope you are all safe, happy and healthy.

I have had an absolute whirlwind of a time in Italy so far. I arrived in Rome on August 28th with both of my parents, and we immediately began our trip with excitement!

August 28th: After settling into our Airbnb, we went straight to Focene Beach. It is about an hour's drive from Roma. I am obsessed with the Ocean and the Sea, so it only made sense to begin our trip at the Beach. Focene was a beautiful and relaxing first day to spend in Italy!
