The day after the official arrival date you will begin your mandatory orientation. You will receive more information about specifically where and what time this orientation will take place closer to the official arrival date. During orientation, you will attend sessions about academics, housing, health and safety, and culture. You will also receive your course schedule. Following orientation, you will begin a mandatory five-day (Monday to Friday) period of intensive French language instruction which includes activities, outings, and orientation to French life.

You must arrive at your housing no later than 3pm on the official arrival date, and you must call the IES Abroad Center during office hours to let the staff know that you have arrived safely at your housing.
