The IES Abroad Center will hold a mandatory week-long orientation program beginning the day after the official arrival date. All students must arrive in Siena by 4pm on the official arrival date. It is strongly recommended that you fly into Florence Airport (FLR), as group transportation will be arranged from the airport by bus. The group bus will leave at 2pm. Students wishing to utilize the group bus should arrive in Florence (known as Firenze in Italian) by 1:30pm on the official arrival date to allow for time to get through customs.
