My train from Florence returns to Milan Centrale and I hop back on the Metropolitana to head home. This past weekend I took a solo trip to Florence! I got a last minute ticket to the Ufizzi, went on an incredible food tour and spent a day in the countryside visiting a friend.

One Last Wholesome Moment

As my time abroad has come to a close, it saddens me to leave the new life that I have made and my new friends that I have spent the past 4 months with. As I reminisce on this period of my life, I want to use this, one of my final blogs, to talk about how I spent my last day in Amsterdam.

Chevreuse: The Perfect Day Trip

Bonjour everyone,

I’m officially past the halfway mark for my program! It’s crazy!! Exploring Paris has been amazing—there are so many different foods to try, places to see, and neighborhoods to get lost in. Today I’ll be talking about another excursion I took outside of Paris: Chevreuse! 

Chevreuse is a little town on the outskirts of Paris, south of Versailles. I heard about it from one of the IES Abroad staff who recommended it for those who needed to get out of the city for a bit. So my friends and I planned to take a day trip there.
