At the end of the program, IES Abroad will issue a transcript in order to transfer your study abroad credit back to your college or university. The transcript will indicate each course you took, the institution where it was taken, the grade awarded and the number of credits earned. You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements to and from Arles. When making flight arrangements, please refer to the official program dates. You must arrive in Arles by 5pm on the official arrival date. There will be an IES representative at the train station between 9am and 5pm to assist and give directions to the IES Abroad Arles Center. The day after the official arrival date you will begin your mandatory orientation. You will receive more information about specifically where and what time this orientation will take place closer to the official arrival date. During orientation, you will attend sessions about academics, housing, health and safety, and culture. You will also receive your course schedule.
You must arrive at your housing no later than 3pm on the official arrival date, and you must call the IES Abroad Center during office hours to let the staff know that you have arrived safely at your housing. If you are delayed during travel refer to your "Print Me Guide" for further instructions. You are encouraged to reserve a flight that has a mid-morning arrival to Paris, in order to have enough time to go through customs and immigration.
