An Extremely Realistic Travel Day (Part 2)

8:00 p.m.: After a riveting game of Monopoly Deal, we heard over the loudspeaker, “We will now begin boarding!” Having sufficiently bonded with our new friends, we made our way onto the plane! This part was so exciting! My first time boarding an international flight! As I walked through the jet bridge, I realized that I need to be playing my main character playlist immediately. It was only fitting! I reached up towards my neck to put my headphones over my ears…and they weren’t there. Oh. No. Unfortunately for me, I had left my headphones on the floor where we were sitting.

12 Weeks of 17: My Abroad Experience so Far..

So, at this point, I have been in Freiburg, Germany, for 12 weeks now, with only 5 weeks to go. That being said, in this blog, I want to talk about what I have learned so far and what this experience has been for me. Things such as adjustment, loneliness, and stress are all items I would use to describe studying abroad. That being said, there is so much positive to reflect on. Studying abroad is no joke and can be quite difficult, yet the person you meet on the other side is all worth the while.
