Upcoming Website Maintenance
Early this Monday morning U.S. Central Time the IES Abroad website will undergo scheduled maintenance. During this time some or all features of the site - like login and account creation - may be unavailable, but we expect this disruption to be brief. Thank you for your patience.
Virtual Tour of Milano!
When I first arrived in Milan, the first things I received were a map of the city and a student metro card. I was so excited to explore a new city, to really find my way in this Italian city. And I feel that I really have been successful in this…I have grown to love, love, love this city!
A Weekend Adventure
Hey everyone!
Ireland
Day 1— My friend Macklin and I stayed in Leixlip, a suburb of Dublin about a 35-minute train ride away. After riding into Dublin we went first to Brother Hubbard (http://brotherhubbard.ie/), an incredible breakfast, lunch, and brunch spot with killer coffee and Moroccan inspired meals. Brother Hubbard also has some tasty baked goods to take for the road, (peanut butter, s’more cookie, anyone?) Dublin is a great city because once you’re there, you can walk to most of the major sites.
Finals Week & Self-Care Abroad
Here is the time of the semester where No Pasa Nada and I could not possibly be more of enemies. I don't know how to quite not pasa nada because there is so much work that needs to be done, so at the moment, pasa mucho. But...they say keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer.
