Day one of our weekend trip to Basque country we boarded a tour boat and floated down a river in central Bilbao to see the city as well as the surrounding countryside. Although it was a bit overcast, it was beautiful to see the industrialized yet recently revitalized heart of País Vasco’s capital.

I've been studying spanish for the last six years and look forward to chatting with the locals while studying in Madrid. When not doing homework I am either running around at practice with my ultimate frisbee team, the Gods of Plastic, or laying out the most recent edition of a publication I cofounded recently. I'll try and bring you some photos showing the real Madrid, not just the pictures you see on postcards.
