<p>Hi! I'm Bianca, but a lot my friends call me Binkie (a weird childhood nickname), so feel free to call me that if you want!&nbsp;I am obsessed with traveling, going to concerts, spending money on a bunch of desserts, and I love writing poetry. I'm a rising junior, and I want to pursue a career in the journalism or public relations field, so I am really excited to have the chance to continue writing/journaling while I'm abroad!</p>

<p>I am a communication and political science student from Seattle, WA. I love my family, friends and hydrangeas. I'm a sucker for 80s movies and crossword puzzles. Although I'm essentially lactose intolerant, my love for ice cream overrules my dietary restrictions.</p>

Hiya! My name is Samantha Yu and I'm a student at Scripps College in California. Some of my favorite things to do are eating, songwriting, napping, taking photos, and exploring. I'm a huge fan of plants, pups, and pancakes!

<p>Well as you can tell from the headshot I used, I don't take myself overly seriously. I'm twenty years old and a son of Cuban exiles, born and raised in Miami, Florida. I have a particularly interesting outlook on the world - one brought about by the Cuban heritage I take with me (and maybe one or two run-ins with my own mortality, but no biggie!) for living well and loving life unpretentiously and earnestly. The experience of friendships, connections, experiences, and memories are what drive me to make the most of wherever I am, and explore everything - the people, the history and culture, the problems we all face, and that we are all fundamentally more alike than different. I'm a junior at Bates College, majoring in Politics with the idea of one day getting into law and leaving the world a bit better than I found it. On the off chance that I'm not working or studying, I like throwing myself into anything that seems like a challenge, regardless of whatever it is. On my off time, I like being able to just sit outside and soak in the day or night, relax, and appreciate the world around me.</p>

<p>My name is Ian Matthew Zunt, and I am from Seattle, Washington. I am currently studying Urban and Environmental Policy at Occidental College in Los Angeles, with minors in Art History and the Spanish language, and I am planning to join IES Abroad's Language and Area Studies program in Madrid this Fall semester. Coming from an arts high school in Seattle, I have realized a deep interest in all forms of art, from dancing and singing to acting and the visual arts. Through the solid presence of art in my life, I found a passion for photography, specifically with analog cameras and color film. Though I have somewhat moved away from art academically, I continue to create and to take photos for myself, taking part in local gallery shows and online sharing.</p>

<p>Hi! My name is Sabrina and I'm from New Jersey but I go to Bowdoin College in Maine. I'm studying Environmental Studies and Government with a concentration in International Relations to prepare myself for a career in international diplomacy (fingers crossed!). Outside of academics, I am the president of the Caribbean Students Union (shoutout to my fellow Haitians/Guyanese!), a member of Bowdoin's Entertainment Board which coordinates concerts and activities for the student body, help low income families make their homes more energy efficient through AmeriCorps, and DJ two shows at my school's radio station. On my rare days off, I enjoy painting, binge watching rom coms on Netflix and hosting new album listening parties in my room.</p>

Hi I'm Raisa, and I usually introduce myself by saying my name is pronounced like a bowl of rice and then uh. I enjoy writing poetry, taking photos of nature, and making playlists of all musical genres.

<p>I'm a rising Senior at North Carolina State University (Raleigh) studying Psychology with a Spanish Minor. When not in the library, I can be found in the gym, on a beach, or hanging in some tree reading. I start most of my sentences with "so I was listening to a podcast and..."&nbsp;and believe podcasts are the perfect way to learn without the stress of being in a classroom or reading a book. I love to travel and be out of my comfort zone, which explains why you're reading about my experiences in Barcelona.</p>

<p>I am 21 years old, a rising senior at Wofford College, and I am pursuing a B.A. in Finance. My interests include cars, motorcycles (pretty much anything with wheels), and sports. I pass my free time by hanging out with family and friends, going to the movies, working out, and watching Netflix. A weird fact about me is that I enjoy philosophical discussions.</p>

<p>Juliana Trujillo is just a girl from Colorado ready to do big things. A love for learning, family support, and food inspired her ambitions to study abroad. She is a Bioengineering major with a Chemistry minor with a passion for promoting STEM equity and equality. In her free time, Juliana loves to read, be outdoors, or read outdoors in addition to spending time with friends and family.</p>
