Course Preregistration You will preregister for courses by submitting the Preregistration Form that we will post in your MyIESabroad account around six to eight weeks before your departure. Here you will select your two choices In cases where consultation is necessary, the IES Abroad Academic Dean for the EU program may be in contact with you prior to departure regarding course registration. Final adjustments to registration will occur on-site. IES Abroad reserves the right to cancel courses due to insufficient enrollment.
Internships IES Abroad EU offers internship opportunities in Freiburg, Germany to Spring students only. To participate in an IES Abroad internship, you must be able to remain in Europe for eight weeks after the IES Abroad EU Spring Program ends. The internship program carries an additional fee which covers housing, the seminar, and insurance. There are two parts to the internship: a 3-credit Internship Seminar, which is primarily conducted before and after the placement experience, and the internship itself, comprised of a four- to six-week placement in Freiburg.
