A Trip to Northern Ireland
A few weekends ago, I traveled with IES Abroad from Dublin all the way to Northern Ireland. Over the span of 3 days, we visited Derry, Belfast, and stayed two nights in the coastal town of Portrush.
Holiday Availability: All IES Abroad offices will be closed on Dec 24, Dec 25, Dec 31, and Jan 1 as we take some time to celebrate. During the weeks of 12/22 and 12/29, our team will be smaller, so responses may take longer than usual. Thanks for your understanding—and happy holidays!

At 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning, I walked through the entrance of Barcelona’s Estació del Nord bus terminal; mostly excited, but caffeine deprived. My initial plan was to fall asleep as soon as the bus departed and sleep soundly through the hour and twenty-minute journey. My friend arrived shortly after I did and we stood at our terminal, slouched over and not fully awake, anticipating the bus to arrive imminently to take us to our destination—Tossa de Mar.
