My semester abroad in Paris included many of the most transformative experiences in my life. This is partially because I’m a senior, which I’ve talked about in other posts already. Still, it definitely goes beyond what I would normally experience as a first-semester senior back home.

Barcelona, wow, what an incredible city! I decided to explore its stunning streets in a fun and unique way—on a Segway tour! It was a blast zipping around and taking in the sights. The Segway allowed me to cover so much ground while enjoying the fresh air and energy of the city. From historic landmarks to architectural masterpieces, I was able to see Barcelona's most iconic spots, all while having a great time.

A Dreamy Day at Lake Como
It’s been almost a week since I returned from my study abroad semester in Vienna, Austria. It feels like just yesterday that I was packing my bags to leave for Europe, not knowing a thing about the world awaiting me. In four months, I have had the utmost privilege to have visited 11 countries, taught English in an Austrian school, befriended students from dozens of colleges around the U.S., learned A1 German, and familiarized myself with the histories, cultures, and religions that constitute European societies.

I just returned from an unforgettable trip to San Sebastián, and I’m excited to share all the amazing experiences with you. The weather was perfect—fresh and pleasant, just the way I love it. It was ideal for walking around the city and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I started by strolling through the charming streets and made my way to Playa de la Concha. The beach was exactly as I had imagined, with golden sand and clear blue water. I couldn’t resist standing on the beach and taking it all in.
Musically, I play string bass in the chamber jazz band & host a weekly radio show. I am also a member of the fiber arts club & love making my own garments through knitting. I like to journal and read books (especially graphic novels). I love to run!
