IES Abroad Wins Gold & Judge’s Choice in 2015 Collegiate Advertising Awards

With the Rio Olympics coming up this summer, we thought nothing could be better than winning gold—until we won both Gold and Judge’s Choice in the 2015 Collegiate Advertising Awards.

The Collegiate Advertising Awards honor excellence in marketing and advertising, specifically within the field of higher education. This elite national program is broken into more than 40 categories—from billboard design and direct mail to radio ads and beyond.

Entries are evaluated in relation to similar-sized organizations in their specific groups and categories. A panel of industry experts from across the nation reviews and judges each entry, scoring based on their creativity, design, production, and overall effectiveness.

The 2015 Awards received more than 900 entries from institutions and organizations across the United States. IES Abroad was the prestigious Judge’s Choice winner for our Study Abroad Film Festival (in the Total Advertising Campaigns category) and we also won Gold for our Virtual Tour of London (in the Virtual Tours category).

  • Judges Choice – Score of 100% (only 5 issued – top 1%)
  • Gold Awards – Score of 95 to 99 (top 5% in the nation)
  • Silver Awards – Score of 90 to 94 (top 12% in the nation)
  • Bronze Awards – Score of 85 to 89 (top 16% in the nation)

We are excited to be in the top 5% of the nation for educational advertising excellence.
