We have partnered with Global Players, an athletics-focused study abroad provider, to offer a study abroad program for student athletes in Rio de Janeiro next summer!
Global Players' programs are designed specifically for student athletes and include an athletic training and international competition component, in addition to the academic curriculum and cross-cultural programming for which IES Abroad is recognized.
Participants will join our Rio de Janeiro Summer Sports & Society Program and train with local teams, teach sport in local schools, and join community service initiatives through NGOs. Soccer, volleyball, and football athletes are the targeted sports for the Global Players Summer 2015 Program in Rio.
