Kasha in London- January’s 2nd video Kasha in London- January’s 2nd video
In this video I have detailed what I have been experiencing in London so far and how I’ve been experiencing it as a multiethnic woman in such a large city. So far I have been involved in all the touristy things, such as Windsor Castle, Buckingham palace, Big Ben, and the London Eye. I have also been involved with Hackney Healthwatch, which is where I do my interning at. I’ve also had my first experiences as a student who attends Oxford University. Being in such a large city with so many people, you realize you are no longer the minority. I went to Brixton the other day with a friend to enjoy Caribbean food and it’s times like this that I realize how many people from all walks of life have settled in London. Well Enjoy Friends!
With Love,

I am a junior studying at American University and this semester I am studying with the IES program in London! Public Health and specifically the topic of health disparities interest me and this program allows me to really dive into the inner-workings of my interest by giving me hands on work in the field. This is my first time in Europe so this whole experience is brand new to me and you'll probably guess that through my blog as I note things about London and my experience here that locals probably don't even notice anymore. I love working and interacting with people from all walks of life, and I can't wait to explore London and all its diversity. Catch up with you soon, thanks for reading!
