Roti, Pakora, and Chai – Oh, My! Cooking in Delhi

If you’re a fan of Indian food, roti, pakora, and chai are already part of your vocabulary. For students studying in Delhi this semester, learning these words is only the beginning; they are also discovering how to prepare these delicacies and more!

Sunita Kewalramani, IES Abroad Delhi’s Student Affairs & Administrative Coordinator, offers a not-for-credit cooking class.

Sunita explains, “The recipes chosen are some of my personal favorites. They are easy to cook, and represent some of the diversity this lovely country has to offer. Each session has been thoroughly enriching and helped form some wonderful moments with the students, which we will remember forever.”

There is no doubt the class is popular with students, as you’ll see in the photos below.
