IES Abroad Milan students clocked their 15 minutes of fame this morning as part of an academic field study in Professor Toccaceli's CM325: TV and Communication course. The group visited Mediaset, the studio of  Mattino Cinque, a national infotainment television program similar to Good Morning America. They went backstage, spoke with the conductors and directors, and observed interviews with special guests. They were even introduced as a "group of American students from the IES Abroad institute" during the live on-air broadcast. As a follow-up to their exciting day, students will write reports about the show structure and content, presenters, guests, audience, studio organization, and crew tasks.
